Jim joined Baird in 2021 and offers clients over 35 years of industry experience. His mission is to provide every client with big picture assistance, comprehensive financial advice and customized portfolio allocation delivered with the highest level of honesty and integrity. Jim and his colleague, Jill, pride themselves on prompt and attentive service to everyone they work with.
Prior to Baird, Jim was a senior financial advisor at another firm for 30 years. He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from St. Mary’s University, and furthered his education by achieving his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designations. These credentials not only reinforce his financial planning expertise, but reflect his client-first ethical standards and commitment to ongoing education as the industry continues to evolve.
Jim grew up in Winona, Minnesota where he met his wife, Julie, in the first grade. They have been married for over 30 years and continue to live in Rochester where they raised their three children. He has enjoyed keeping bees for 25 years and together, Julie and Jim enjoy traveling, being outside, and supporting charities that make a difference in the lives of others.
